Growing concern for Ayr man, 72, missing for four weeks
He is known to travel throughout Scotland.
Police are appealing for information to trace a man missing from Ayr.
Neil McKay, 72, lives alone and has been missing since July 26, and officers are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare.
He is described as white, of medium build, balding with grey hair and wears glasses.
He speaks with an Ayrshire accent, and is known to travel throughout Scotland regularly.
Chief inspector I'Anson of Ayr Police Station said: "It is out of character for Mr McKay to go missing for such a long period of time in this way, so we are eager to trace him.
"We are carrying out enquiries locally and across Scotland.
"We would advise anyone seeing Neil McKay to call the police on 101. Equally anyone with information about his whereabouts should also contact police."
