Community groups compete for £50,000 funding grant
Groups have until September 4 to apply.
Groups in Girvan and South Carrick have less than two weeks to apply for community funding.
Assel Valley Community Fund supports projects located within Girvan and District, and has made almost £50,000 available.
It is funded by Falck Renewables from its Assel Valley wind farm in South Ayrshire.
Other funds are available for projects benefiting the neighbouring community council areas of Barr and Pinwherry and Pinmore, and are administered under separate arrangements.
Groups have until Monday, September 4, to apply, with awards being announced in early November.
