Police have appealed to members of the public to help them trace an Ayrshire woman missing for three weeks.

Leeann Gardiner from West Kilbride has not been seen since by her family since July 11 with officers alerted to her disappearance ten days later.

The 32-year-old, who lives in the village's Craufurd Avenue, is white, 5ft and of slim build with fair, shoulder length hair.

Inspector Ian McColl of Irvine Police Office said: "Leeann was reported missing to police on July 21 and enquiries have been carried out in the local area since then to locate her.

"Although she has been missing before, we would like to ensure that she is safe and well and I would urge anyone with any information on her whereabouts to contact Irvine Police Office through 101."
