Detective constable 'braves the shave' for charity
Kilmarnock constable Paul Tracy took part in the fundraising effort for MacMillan.
An Ayrshire officer has shaved his head in support of Macmillan Cancer Support.
Kilmarnock detective constable Paul Tracy took part in Brave the Shave on Friday to raise funds for the cancer charity.
Colleagues and friends attributed his efforts by donating more than £300 to the cause.
A spokesperson for MacMillan Cancer Support said: "Thousands of people like Paul are braving the shave to stand proudly alongside men, women and children with cancer.
"By braving the shave they help people living with cancer take back control so they can start to feel like themselves again.
"Cancer doesn't just affect a person's body, it affects their whole life and the lives of people around them and the money raised by people like Paul will be used to provide nurses, support centres, advice lines and much more."
