Handmade Burger Co collapses into administration
The gourmet burger restaurant chain currently has five outlets in Scotland.
Handmade Burger Co has announced it has entered administration.
The gourmet burger restaurant chain, which has five outlets in Scotland, announced the move via Leonard Curtis Recovery.
The firm will to deal with the administration.
A statement on its website said: "Regrettably, nine of the 29 restaurants were closed on appointment.
"The remaining restaurants continue to trade as normal under the Joint Administrators' control and they hope to find a solution which will enable as many jobs as possible to be preserved."
It is not currently known which nine restaurants have been closed.
Three of the Scottish restaurants are in Glasgow: St Vincent Street, intu Braehead and Silverburn Shopping Centre.
A fourth is located at Ocean Terminal in Edinburgh and the last in Union Square, Aberdeen.
