East Ayrshire council is recognising Learning Disability Awareness week with a series of inclusive events.
The week runs from June 19-23, with this year scheduled to take on the theme 'Looking back; thinking forward'.
It celebrates the inclusion of people with learning disabilities in communities and will kick off with a showcase of music, dance and drama on Tuesday, June 20, at Cumnock Town Hall.
An all ability sports day will take place at Ayrshire Athletcis Arena from 11am-2pm on the Wednesday, when participants can try out different sports including specially adapted bikes.
An information day will be held at Stewarton Area Centre from 10.30am-2pm on the Thursday, when audiences can meet Eddie Fraser, the director of health and social care, and discuss any learning disability issues with him.
The 'hings Tae Dae Social Hub will be performing a powerful drama about hate crime while representatives from Balmoral Road Centre and the Sir Alexander Fleming Centre will perform a Sensory Story.
Cumnock Juniors Football Park will close the week with a football fun day on the Friday from 11am-4.30pm.
