A 14-year-old girl has died and two teenagers are in hospital after falling ill in Glasgow.

At around 12.45am on Sunday, police attended an incident on Dundasvale Court, Cowcaddens.

STV News understands that the girl is being named locally as Zoe Bremner.

The two teenagers, male and female and both 15 years old, were taken by ambulance to Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

Their medical condition is not currently known.

Police are carrying out inquiries into the death and illnesses, which are being treated as unexplained.

A police spokesman said: "Drug involvement will be a line of investigation."
