In pictures: Striking images from across Scotland this week
Stunning midnight scenes on Glen Coe and a rainbow over Loch Ness.
Welcome to Scotland from the Roadside, a weekly gallery showcasing some of the best images from around the country taken by you.
From opportune moments shot on smartphones to breathtaking landscapes captured in high definition, each week we share a selection of interesting pictures taken by people on their travels around Scotland.
We've partnered up with the Scotland from the Roadside Facebook group, a popular destination for trading photos and stories, which has drawn in more than 100,000 members.
Each week, we ask the page's creators, Bruce Philip and Linda Curran, to select their favourite photographs posted by keen snappers.
This week sees images of steam trains shrouded in plumes of smoke, stunning night skies over Glen Coe and a rainbow hovering over a loch.
Ullapool harbour by Alison Meredith
"I look forward to seeing this view every time I visit Ullapool," Alison says.
"It's literally from the roadside, taken from the lay-by at the top of the hill leading down in to Ullapool."
Cellardyke and the Bass Rock by Bob Legg
"As it was a braw summer's night on Sunday in my home town of Anstruther/Cellardyke, I took a cycle around town to see what I could snap," explains Bob.
"While photographing the Bass Rock over the rooftops in Toll Road, three wee lassies cycled by and into the frame.
"I thought they completed the picture rather nicely so I pressed the shutter. You could say it was a lucky photobombing."
Rainbow over Loch Ness by Mary Lyons
"I enjoy showing our lovely part of the world," explains Mary.
"[This photograph was taken] at Invermoriston at Loch Ness Cabins. We thought it was a bit different."
Old puffer coming from Fort William by Adrian Le Maitre
"I work for a Scottish national car/truck/trailer parts supplier and travel to Fort William daily from Inverness," explains Adrian.
"Photography is my hobby and while others drink tea on breaks, I just take pictures.
"I asked a local Fort William garage for a good place to get a shot of the Jacobite train under steam - by under steam I mean labouring, else you see little coming out of the top.
"I was nearly at the spot recommended but was out of time - I literally parked for two mins and the train came past."
A murky day in Whiting Bay by Dean Ferrier
"I was just visiting the area on holidays and I liked the boat on the front, " Dean says.
"I was a bit disappointed not to be able to see Ailsa Craig earlier so captured the weather conditions anyway."
Oban harbour at sunset by Gareth Judson
"I'm originally from the area but have been working away in Elgin for the past three and a half years," Gareth says.
"I was just down for a visit and couldn't resist taking a photo as the lighting was was just amazing."
Midnight in Glen Coe by Allan Donald
"My partner and myself had planned a wild camping weekend and our first camp was to be the summit of Stob Coire Raineach on Glen Coe's Buachaille Etive Beag," Allan says.
"We couldn't have asked for better conditions; great sunset, clear skies and a bright moon, then waking to a magnificent sunrise. A fantastic experience."
Isle of Skye by Heinz Georg Koch
"I am a self-taught amateur and photography is for me a window into my soul," Heinz says.
"To find a photo location, I will scour every map, Google Earth to find something unusual and not what has been done over and over again.
"At the moment my wife and our dogs are visiting the Isle of Skye having travelled 2228km to get here and we are based in Milovaig, which is roughly five to ten minutes from our front door to Neist Point."
He adds: "The shot was taken along the tiny road leading towards Ramasaig, which is the last turnoff before heading towards Neist Point.
"Most people tend to bypass this road and head for the overflowing car park at Neist Point but like I have said I was looking for something special."
Birds at Slains Castle by Mike Begg
"I went for a visit to Slains Castle with my partner and her mum - I took the camera of course," Mike says.
"It was a nice clear day, I was just looking for inspiration and saw the bird with its wings open and being at Slains, I thought 'wow it looks like Batman'."
