STV to broadcast Scotland v England World Cup qualifier
Coverage of the crucial match from Hampden will start at 4.30pm, with kick-off at 5pm.
STV will broadcast the crucial World Cup qualifier match between Scotland and England on Saturday, June 10.
Gordon Strachan's side will be lining up in the Auld Enemy clash on the back of a last gasp win against Slovenia in March, which kept their hopes of qualifying for Russia 2018 alive.
Outgoing Celtic midfielder Kris Commons and current Rangers star Kenny Miller will be providing punditry alongside presenter Peter Martin and former Scotland goalkeeper Alan Rough during the programme.
Coverage will start at 4.30pm for the match, which kicks off at 5pm.
STV's team will be live trackside at Hampden for analysis before and after the game, while commentator Rob MacLean will be joined by former Rangers midfielder and current Bradford City boss Stuart McCall.
Elizabeth Partyka, deputy director of channels at STV, said: "This is a crucial qualifier match and we are looking forward to bringing viewers our dedicated coverage on STV.
"More than half of the Scottish adult population tuned in to watch the last two matches between England and Scotland on STV so it's a popular event for our viewers.
"We will capture the excitement in the build up to the game and viewers will be able to follow developments on the pitch with our comprehensive coverage on air and online on June 10."
The game comes after England won the first group clash between the teams 3-0 at Wembley last November.
On the eve of the clash, STV will air a preview programme at 10.50pm on Friday, June 9, when Peter Martin will be joined at the national stadium by Alan Rough, former SFA chief executive and Rangers forward Gordon Smith and ex-Scotland star Darren Jackson to look ahead to the game.
The programme will feature an exclusive interview with the Scotland manager and the latest from the Scotland camp ahead of the Group F clash.
The last two England v Scotland matches aired on STV and had a total reach of 2.4 million viewers.
In November 2016, the previous 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier between the teams was the year's most watched sporting event on commercial TV.
The programmes will be available to stream on a wide range of platforms via the STV Player.
STV will also offer comprehensive coverage and live analysis online via the STV News app and website, as well as STV's social media channels.
