Arran Malt and Music Festival is to play host to a brand new masterclass this year.

The Devil's Advocate bar from Edinburgh will be at the Arran Distillery to host a one-off whisky cocktail demonstration to show the 'versatility' of whisky in cocktails.

Participants have the chance to be served by some of Edinburgh's best bartenders while learning of a range of classic cocktails.

The festival begins on Friday, June 30, with entry to the main event free of charge.

Saturday's main event includes masterclasses, mini tours and tastings, live music and a specialist whisky bar.

Other classes available include whisky and chocolate, Stillmen's masterclass, whisky and food and the ultimate masterclass.
