Tributes paid to murder victim after street stabbing
Police are investigating the death of 44-year-old Gary McMillan in Dundee.
A murder victim who was stabbed to death in the street has been described as "one in a million" by friends.
A murder investigation is under way after the body of Gary McMillan was discovered on Lawton Terrace in Dundee on Tuesday at 2.25am.
He is believed to have suffered stab wounds in the street attack.
Tributes have been paid to the 44-year-old, described as a "great guy".
A friend said in a social media post: "Can't believe it. You were one in a million.
"A great laugh, a great guy, you will be missed."
Another friend added: "RIP Gary, you will be sadly missed. Great guy, top bloke."
In another post, an associate stated: "Rest in peace my friend. You were a cracker, a great guy, more than willing to help a mate out, your banter was second to none and so was your laugh."
