First floating opera boat to visit Troon this summer
Scottish Opera will bring their special show to Ayrshire in June.
Ayrshire music fans will take to the waves as Scotland's first opera boat visits the region this summer.
Scottish Opera will bring the pilot cutter vessel to Ayrshire on Friday, June 23 ,with performances for adults and schoolchildren.
Performances will include A Little Bit of The Pirates of Penzance, based on Gilbert and Sullivan's comic opera, and A Little Bit of Bubble McBea.
The boat will also visit marinas in Largs and Ardrossan, with bite-sized productions taking place in Prestwick and Girvan.
Scottish Opera's Jane Davidson, said: "Once again, Scottish Opera is taking both high and low roads across Scotland to bring these miniature productions to festivals and events managed and run by local people."
The show in Girvan takes place on May 31 with the Prestwick display on June 1.
