Police with dogs are searching a busy city centre for a wanted man.

Officers were called to areas in Dundee including Victoria Road and Ladywell Avenue on Friday afternoon.

It is understood around ten units have been sent in the hunt for a man, wanted over drug offences.

A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "Officers are looking to trace a man wanted in connection with drugs offences."
