'Mother Teresa' nuns arrive to fight poverty in Dundee
Four sisters will be based at the Diocese of Dunkeld and help residents.
A group of nuns have arrived in Dundee on a mission to help fight poverty.
The four sisters, known as the Mother Teresa Nuns, are originally from Birmingham but came to the city to open a new convent.
Based at St Anne's Cottage at the Diocese of Dunkeld, the nuns will mainly work in the north of the city.
With a focus on helping the poorest in the community, chancellor Malcolm Veal welcomed the news as "wonderful".
Bishop Stephen Robson said a meeting several years ago laid the foundations for the nun's move to Scotland.
He said: "The order's mother superior came up and talked to us and went away and thought about it and decided to send some. We're very fortunate."
