Tributes flood in for soldier who fell through roof
A tribute song has also surfaced on popular music sharing site Soundcloud.
Friends and family of a young Stevenston soldier who died this week have taken to social media to pay tribute.
The 19-year-old, who has been named locally as Josh Wilson, fell through the roof of St Mary's Primary School on East London Street in Edinburgh.
The recent army recruit was admitted to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary after the incident in the early hours of Sunday.
He died of his injuries on Tuesday morning.
Mr Wilson's Facebook profile page has been flooded with tributes, with many mourning the loss of their friend.
Fellow recruit Freddie John Morley wrote: "I can't believe it, only few weeks ago we were in training. R.I.P Josh Wilson . You were a top man, absolutely shocked."
Family member Dean Gilmour wrote: "Heart's breaking for my big cousin Mandy Tulloch. If you need anything am here - such a young guy with his future a head of him....rip Josh Wilson."
A tribute song has also surfaced on popular music sharing site Soundcloud entitled 'Rest Easy Josh Wilson'.
It features a remixed version of Kate Dearaugo's Heaven, and has so far attracted almost 2000 plays.
