Arran Ranger Service appeals for return of stolen tarp
The Arran Ranger Service are appealing for information
Arran Ranger Service is appealing for information after tarp was stolen from the wood above their ranger centre.
The service, based at Brodick Castle, provides guided walks, estate management and biological monitoring across the island.
It also offers environmental education and organises various events throughout the year to get young people involved in Arran's wildlife.
The service found its Roben's Tarp, which is used to provide shelter during lessons, has gone missing from the wood.
Taking to Facebook, the group posted a plea for the tarp to be returned.
It posted: "We would very much appreciate it if you could return it.
"We use it as a shelter for educational sessions, and, being on a tight budget, won't be able to afford to buy another one very soon."
Anyone with information is urged to contact the Arran Ranger Service on 01770 302462.
