Community urged to invest in new Kinross space centre
TV star Carol Voderman has pledged her support to the project.
A community share offer has been launched giving people the opportunity to invest in Aero Space Kinross.
The funds will be used to create an aviation, astronomy and space flight family centre for the local community and visitors.
The centre aims to inspire future generations to take an interest in flight related careers and leisure pursuits as well as improve education in the region.
Key features will include the science and story of flight, astronomy as well as a flight motion simulation.
Running for seven weeks until June 30, the group has set a minimum target of £25,000 with a maximum fundraising total of £475,000.
Runway and Flying Class shares cost £100 for those living in Kinross-shire with those living outside paying £200.
TV celebrity Carol Voderman has already lent her support with a video message with locals taking part in a daily video to discuss the programme.
