Pupils go nuts for nature with special 50 challenge
Teenagers will help Loch Leven reserve celebrate an important anniversary.
Pupils from Kinross High School will complete an astounding 50 activities to help nature.
The teenagers are taking part in the 50 Challenge at the RSPB Scotland Loch Leven nature reserve as part of the visitor attraction's 50th anniversary celebrations.
Each member will document their experiences and post photographs, which will appear alongside stories and memories from the reserve.
In 1967 when RSPB Scotland first bought the land, the area, known then as Vane Farm, was a working farm, with arable fields running towards the loch edge and grazing up on the hill.
Now 55,000 visitors head to the area each year, the centre has become an important sight for breeding and protecting animals such as ducks and geese.
