Exams to go ahead despite two-day Ayrshire College strike
Some lecturers at Ayrshire College will take part in a national strike.
Several lecturers at Ayrshire College will take part in a national strike on Tuesday and Thursday in a dispute over pay and terms and conditions.
Some classes due to take place on those days will be cancelled and students will be contacted if their lessons are set to continue on the day.
The Ayr, Kilmarnock and Kilwinning and Irvine Royal campuses will be open and all exams, including HNC and HND graded units, will take place as planned.
An Ayrshire College spokesman said: "We apologise for any inconvenience and concern this will cause.
"We would like to reassure you that we will do everything possible to limit the impact of the strike on your learning experience."
