A new Visa-based gift card for the Isle of Arran has been launched.

The ArranCard, launched by Visit Arran, is a pre-loaded card that can be used in different businesses across the island.

Recipients can use the new card in purchasing accommodation, dining, retail, activity and attractions, as long as the business is signed up to the scheme.

The card can be used in a variety of different businesses: Auchrannie Resort, Whiting Bay Fiddlers Music Bar and Bistro, Isle of Arran Distillery and The Arran Butcher are just some of the 42 businesses already signed up to the scheme.

The artwork was designed by local artist and VisitArran Director Angela Elliot-Walker. It shows the iconic view of Brodick Bay, the village shops and Brodick Castle underneath the towering Goatfell.
