Police hunt for 6ft African sculpture stolen in Tayside
The heavy 'Shona' work of art made of black stone is said to be worth £3,000.
Police in Tayside are on the hunt for thieves who have made off with a 6ft African sculpture.
The piece of tribal art has been stolen from the grounds of a property in Alyth.
The Shona scuplture, which resembles a female figure and is made of black stone, is valued at around £3000.
The heavyweight item was taken by thieves sometime between April 3 and April 24, and its owners are keen to see it returned.
Anyone with information about its whereabouts is asked to call Police Scotland on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
