Social Says: Is the 18th at St Andrews really the best?
A poll of more than 3000 golfers has revealed the best hole is at the Old Course.
The 18th at St Andrew's Old Course has been voted the best golf hole in Scotland in a poll of 3000 players.
Named Tom Morris and home to the Valley of Sin, it took the award for the best hole and best closing hole.
It is a decision which has been hotly debated by other golfers as well as fans and enthusiasts of the sport.
John Burnett wrote: "Having played Tiger Woods PGA Tour on the PlayStation I can in fact tell you this information is 100% accurate."
Meanwhile Mike Henderson hit back, saying "You obviously haven't seen the 18th at Garmouth? A tricky shot where you have to hit it off the clubhouse with a driver to get the ball to bounce back on to the green."
Norman Graham chipped in with the 15th at Gleneagles while Mark Irvine suggested the 18th at Carnoustie was the best.
And George Grimason took a swing and a miss when he said golf was just "a good walk wasted".
