Researchers sign charter for African-focused studies
Dundee University has agreed a deal to help with their studies of the continent.
Researchers from Dundee University will sign the charter for the Dundee Africa Research Network (DARN).
The deal marks a major step forward for African-focused research from Scotland.
The group was launched in June 2015 by staff and students who are interested in a number of areas across a number of disciplines.
Bridging the gap between academia, civil society, public authorities and industry, the group discusses a wide range of policy and intellectual matters relating to the continent.
Previous speakers include writer and broadcaster Billy Kay, Dr Matt Graham and Dr Patrick Tom.
