Scottish act Honeyblood have been added to the line-up for this year's Carnival Fifty Six festival in Dundee.

The two piece join acts including Mark Ronson, The Fratellis, Rudimental and Clean Bandit on the Mardi Gras main stage this summer.

Comprising of Stina Marie Claire Tweeddale and Cat Myers, the band will play the event, which takes place in Camperdown County Park on August 12 and 13.

House music fans can find acts like Basement Jaxx and Hot Chip at the big top tent Rhumba Club.

The Jam Live stage is devoted to indie and guitar-based breakthrough acts with the Prides headlining.

As well as music, the festival features a touch of food with cuisine ranging from traditional Scottish fare to specialist seafood.
