Doghouse Roses: Clarks, 80 North Lindsay Street
Atmospheric folk and blues with skilful guitar playing and ethereal vocals. Glasgow's Doghouse Roses were formed by guitarist Paul Tasker and singer Iona Macdonald in 2006. The gig features tracks from their third studio album, Lost Is Not Losing.
Mark Wallinger: Dundee Contemporary Arts, 152 Nethergate
Artist Mark Wallinger's first exhibition in Scotland focuses on his id Paintings (2015/16), an ambitious series of large-scale Rorschach blot-like images.
Alongside these paintings, there will be a selection of Wallinger's films, sculpture and wall-based work, exploring themes of circularity, symmetry and psychoanalysis that recur throughout his work.
