More than 600 golfers from across the UK are expected to take part in Ayr Golf Week this June.

Organisers say they have seen strong entries in the the event, which is currently in its 66th year.

Nine different competitions will be played across courses at Belleisle, Seafield, and Dalmilling.

With a £5000 prize, the Tam O'Shanter and Handyside Tournament are expected to be popular, and golfers with get the chance to try out new facilities at the Bellisle Clubhouse.

Ayr Golf Week begins on Sunday June 4 with events running until Saturday, June 10.
