Fresh pictures issued of man sought over street attack
Police appeal for information after 21-year-old seriously injured in Arbroath.
CCTV images of a man sought in connection with an assault outside a pub in Arbroath have been released by police.
The victim, a 21-year-old man, was attacked near the Stag Bar at the West Port in the Angus town.
He required hospital treatment for the injuries he received in the attack, which happened around 9.30pm on Thursday, December 22.
Detectives have now released new images of a man they hope to trace in connection with the incident.
He is described as black, aged between 25 and 35, with short dark hair and a beard or facial hair.
At the time of the incident he was wearing a two-tone hooded anorak, dark trousers and dark footwear.
Police say the man was seen at the Townhouse Hotel on the High Street in Arbroath after the attack.
It is believed he may have links to Liverpool or Manchester.
