Man cut free from vehicle after two-car crash on A90
Motorists were warned of tailbacks after the crash near the Edzell junction in Angus.
A man had to be cut free from a vehicle following a two-car crash on a busy road.
The collision took place on the southbound carriageway of the A90 near the Edzell junction in Angus at around 4.30pm on Thursday.
Firefighters from Montrose and Laurencekirk used hydraulic cutting equipment to free the man from the car before he was checked over by paramedics.
One lane was closed while police worked to clear the vehicles and debris.
Police were unable to confirm if anyone was seriously injured.
The incident was cleared at about 5pm and Traffic Scotland warned motorists of tailbacks.
