Fears are growing for a teenage girl who went missing in Forfar on Wednesday.

Laura Thomson, who also goes by the name Lindsay, was last seen at her home at around 7pm.

Now officers from Police Scotland are appealing to the public to help trace her.

The 17-year-old is described by police as 5ft 3in tall and of heavy build with dyed dark blue hair with lighter blue tips.

When last seen she was wearing a black hooded top with a picture of skulls on the front, black leggings and black knee high boots.Ms Thomson also has tattoo of a poem on her left forearm.
