Fears for pensioner missing after setting off to visit relative
Joseph Scott, 82, left his Aberdeenshire home on Wednesday to visit a family member in Dunfermline.
An 82-year-old man who set off in a car to visit a relative has been reported missing.
Joseph Scott left his home in Stonehaven, Aberdeenshire, at about 7am on Wednesday to see the family member almost 100 miles away in Dunfermline, Fife.
He was driving a yellow Peugeot 107 car, which has been spotted in Kincardine and Glasgow, and was last seen about 5pm on Wednesday in Musselburgh, East Lothian.
Police Scotland said they are anxious to trace Mr Scott and have appealed to the public for help to trace him.
The pensioner is described as being 5ft 2ins, of slim build and balding with grey hair.
He was wearing a dark brown leather jacket and blue jeans. Anyone with information has been asked to contact police urgently on the 101 number.
