Woman killed in one-vehicle crash near Fife village

A woman has died after her car crashed near a village in Fife in the early hours of Sunday.
The 29-year-old was driving a blue Skoda when the smash took place on the A985 near High Valleyfield at around 2.30am, between Dunfermline and Kincardine-on-Forth.
Emergency services attended but the woman had suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.
Police are appealing for anyone who might have witnessed the crash to come forward.
Sergeant James Henry, of Fife Division's Road Policing Unit, said: "This is a tragic incident and our thoughts are with the family at this time.
"We are investigating this collision and I would ask anyone who was on A985 in the early hours of Sunday, December 18, and has any information to please get in touch with is immediately."
