Riot police called out to disturbance after woman hurt at flat
Police are at the scene and trying to speak to someone in a property in Grangemouth.
Police have closed a road off after a woman was hurt in an incident in Grangemouth.
It is understood riot police were called to Kingseat Avenue to reports of an assault on Tuesday evening.
Police said they were trying to speak to someone inside a property on the street. The road was closed and diversions were put in place.
It is understood around 15 residents have been asked to leave their homes while police deal with the incident.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "Police are currently in attendance at an address in Kingseat Avenue in Grangemouth after being called to reports of an assault.
"A woman has been treated for minor injuries and officers remain at the property whilst attempts are made to speak to the occupant inside."
