A black Mercedes was among seven cars stolen from a garage forecourt in Dundee.

The vehicles were stolen from Ancrum Autos on Charleston Drive between 4.30pm on Sunday and 8.15am on Monday.

Police are now appealing for anyone with information on the thefts to come forward.

One of the stolen cars was a black Mercedes C220 with registration SL06 ZSR, though it was later recovered in Dundee.

Also stolen was a black BMW 1 series with registration FV08 ZRC, an orange Nissan Qashqai with registration SG57 CAN and a white Renault Clio with registration SV59 ESG.

A red Suzuki Swift with registration SL61 0EV was also stolen, as were two black Audi A4s with registrations SG58 OEV and GV57 YHX.

Anyone who knows where the stolen cars are now is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101 or the charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
