Kanye West meets US president-elect Donald Trump in New York
The purpose of the rapper's visit to Trump Tower on Tuesday is unclear.
Rapper Kanye West has arrived at Trump Tower for a meeting with Donald Trump.
West, 39, who told fans during a live concert that he would have voted for the Republican President-elect, was seen arriving at the building in New York on Tuesday.
The meeting comes the same day that Trump announced oilman Rex Tillerson as Secretary of State.
The purpose of the rendezvous remains unclear, although it is doubted West, who is married to Kim Kardashian, will be offered a position in Trump's administration.
This is one of the first times West has been seen in public since being admitted to hospital with "exhaustion".
Kris Jenner, his wife Kim Kardashian's mother, said West was "exhausted" after a "gruelling tour".
