A woman and two children have been injured in a car collision in Fife.

A black Vauxhall Corsa collided with a red Renault Scenic on the A914 Cupar road near Kettlebridge around 10.15pm on Friday.

The driver of the Corsa, who is in her 30s, was taken to Ninewells Hospital where staff say her injuries are serious but not life threatening.

Two children, described as being of school age, suffered minor injuries in the crash.

The driver and passengers of the Scenic were unharmed.

Police investigating the crash have asked anyone with any information to contact them on 101.
