CCTV images have been released of a man wanted in connection with a bank robbery in Perthshire.

Police released the images after the Bank of Scotland branch in Dunkeld High Street was targeted last Friday.

A man, thought to be aged between 20 and 30, walked into the bank at around 11.25am and demanded cash.

Staff pressed the police alarm as the robber fled from the building with a three-figure sum of cash.

The suspect is described as being white, with fair eyebrows, 5ft 9in, of medium build and wearing a black hooded top with a red motif.

Police say he spoke with a Perthshire accent.

Police Scotland said in a statement: "Officers believe that the man shown in the attached images may have information that will assist them with their investigation and would ask him or anyone who recognises them to contact them.

"Anyone who has information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101 or alternatively, information can be provided anonymously through the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
