Blaze tears through house as column of smoke looms over area
The fire in Sauchie, Clackmannanshire, was reported shortly after midday on Monday.
Fire crews were called out to tackle a blaze at a house in Clackmannanshire.
Four fire engines were called to the scene at Mansfield Avenue, Sauchie, shortly after midday on Monday.
The fire sent a column of grey smoke over the area and firefighters doused the building with water to stop the flames from spreading.
The two-storey building is thought to have been empty at the time and there were no reports of any injuries.
Crews from Stirling, Doune and Larbert were able to bring the fire under control later in the afternoon.
An investigation is under way to determine the cause of the fire.
