Three teenage boys have been charged with murder after a man's body was found on moorland.

The boys, all aged 15, appeared at Rotherham Youth Court on Thursday and were charged with murdering 34-year-old Craig Nelson, who was found on the moors off the A628 at Woodhead Tunnels on August 22.

A post-mortem examination found Mr Nelson died as a result of head injuries.

They will appear before Sheffield Crown Court at a later date.

The three teenagers are the latest people to be charged with Mr Nelson's murder.

Mohammed Shiraz Bashir, 41, and 23-year-old Leonie Marie Mason were charged in August and were remanded in custody.

Two other teenagers - a 15-year-old girl and boy, who were arrested in connection with the investigation, have been released on bail.
