Seven fire engines were called out to deal with a blaze at a derelict hotel in Fife.

The blaze broke out at the former Lundin Links hotel in Leven shortly before 8pm on Saturday.

The fire service said three separate fires had started on the second floor of the C-listed building.

Crews from across Fife were called out, with engines from Methil, Kirkcaldy, Glenrothes and Lochgelly attending the scene, as well as a command support unit.

Firefighters used breathing gear and thermal imaging cameras to search the three-storey premises as they tackled the flames.

The fire was brought under control around 11pm. The hotel was well known in the area and ceased trading around three years ago.
