People from around the world will be accompanying one special dog and his owner on their final walk together tomorrow morning.

Walnut the whippet has been the subject of a huge social media campaign started by his owner Mark Woods to get people joining him on his last walk with his owner.

He put out an emotional plea on social media and his open invitation for people and their pets to join him on Porth Beach tomorrow morning at 9.30 has seen a huge response.

Mark says people from around the world have seen his appeal and told him they will join in the walk with their pets at their own favourite spots.

He says Walnut has been with him through difficult times but has helped get him through them.

But for eight months Mark has been holding Walnut and lifting him since he became too frail to stand up and walk.

After Walnut's final walk Mark will be taking him to a vet later on Saturday for his final goodbye.

Mark says although he wants as many people as possible to join him tomorrow even if it's just him and Walnut it'll still be special:
