Police issue 'desperate' appeal over missing 65-year-old
Peter Edwards was last seen in Stonehaven, Aberdeenshire, at 3.20pm on Tuesday.
Police are seriously concerned for the wellbeing of a man missing from home for five days.
Peter Edwards, 65, was last seen getting off a bus in Stonehaven, Aberdeenshire, at 3.20pm on Tuesday.
He was previously sighted boarding the bus in Aberdeen at 2pm after leaving his home in Scone, Perth and Kinross.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: "Officers investigating the disappearance of Peter Edwards continue to have significant concerns for his wellbeing and and desperately seek assistance from the public to trace him.
"Given the passage of time since Peter went missing - and the lack of sightings during that time - there are real concerns for his welfare and officers would like to hear from anyone who has seen him or has any information on his whereabouts.
"Anyone with information should contact Police Scotland on 101."
Mr Edwards is 5ft 9in tall, with a grey beard, balding head and sideburns. He speaks with an American accent.
When last seen, he was wearing a grey shirt, black tank top jumper, a tie, grey trousers, black leather shoes, and gold-rimmed glasses.
