'Human remains' found near where woman was 'chained like dog'
Kala Brown said she feared four bodies were buried near where she was held in South Carolina.
Possible human remains have been discovered near where a missing woman was found chained like a dog.
Detectives were preparing to make several grisly discoveries after Kala Brown said she feared four bodies were buried near where she was held.
Police dogs have already signalled sites on the property in South Carolina, which will now be excavated.
Miss Brown, 30, was reported missing along with her boyfriend Charlie Carver, 32, in August. He is still missing.
She was found alive on Thursday after police searched convicted sex offender Todd Kohlhepp's property following a tip off about another crime.
Kohlhepp, 45, has been arrested and charged with kidnapping.
Miss Brown was found in a metal storage container measuring about 30ft by 15ft.
Spartanburg County Sheriff Chuck Wright said she had a chain round her neck and told officers she had been there for two months and fed regularly.
Referring to the possibility of other victims, the sheriff said: "We're trying to make sure that we don't have a serial killer on our hands."
Records indicate Kohlhepp is a licensed estate agent and a licensed pilot.
In 1986, he was convicted and sentenced to prison for kidnapping and dangerous crimes against children.
