Concern for missing 65-year-old man last seen getting off bus
Peter Edwards, from Scone in Perthshire, was spotted in Stonehaven but has since vanished.
Concerns have been raised over the welfare of a man who was reported missing from Perthshire on Tuesday.
Peter Edwards from Scone was spotted in Perth city centre at around 7.45am.
On Thursday, police said they had established a subsequent sighting of the 65-year-old alighting another bus in Barclay Street, Stonehaven, at 3.20pm on Tuesday.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "There is concern for Peter's welfare and officers would like to hear from anyone who has seen him or has any information on his whereabouts."
Mr Edwards is described as 5ft 9in, balding with grey beard and sideburns. He has gold-rimmed glasses and when last seen he was wearing a long sleeved grey shirt, black tank top jumper, tie, grey trousers and black leather shoes.
He also speaks with an American accent, police said.
Officers said they are reviewing CCTV as part of their search for Mr Edwards.
