A man has been charged over the assault of a child at flats in Dundee last month.

The young girl was reported to have been attacked on Strathmartine Road on October 18.

She was not injured in the incident but police launched an investigation.

Officers confirmed a 38-year-old man has now been arrested and charged.

A report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal and the man is expected to appear at Dundee Sheriff Court on Thursday.
