A search has been launched for a ten-year-old girl missing from her home in Angus.

Hayley Jade O'Brien was last seen at her home address in the Monifeith area at around 1.15pm on Monday.

Police say they are now "anxious" to trace her.

She is described as being 4ft 11in, of heavy build with long brown hair in a ponytail.

She was last seen wearing a white blouse, grey trousers, grey cardigan and black shoes and carrying a cream backpack with yellow emoji symbols on it.
