Hunt for 'dangerous' man over hit-and-run of police officers

Police are hunting for a "dangerous" man in connection with the attempted murder of two officers in a hit-and-run.
The force has warned members of the public not to approach 30-year-old David McLean, who is being sought in connection with the incident in Glasgow.
Two officers were seriously injured when they were hit by a car as they responded to a call in Banner Drive in the Knightswood area on Sunday night.
Detective inspector Ian Hylands said police have received an "excellent" response from the public and individuals have come forward with a "number of significant pieces of information".
However, the hunt for McLean continues and police have warned the public not to approach him.
Police have confirmed the car used in the attack was stolen and found burnt out in nearby Scotstoun.
The male officer has been discharged from hospital while his female colleague is still recovering.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: "We are urgently seeking the assistance of the public to trace the following man in relation to an ongoing inquiry.
"Police are extremely anxious to trace David McLean, 30, from Glasgow.
"Members of the public are warned not to approach this man, as police believe he may be dangerous."
