High school on lockdown after 'malicious threat' received
Police were called to St Margaret's Academy in Livingston on Thursday morning.
A West Lothian secondary school is on lockdown after a "malicious threat" was made against an individual.
Police were called to St Margaret's Academy in Livingston at around 10am on Thursday after staff raised the alarm.
It is not yet clear whether the threat was made against a pupil or a member of staff.
Officers remain at the scene while they establish the nature of the incident, however it is believed to have been a hoax call.
STV News understands that other schools in the area were targeted with hoax calls.
