A van driver was threatened by a man wielding a knife in an industrial estate.

The 39-year-old man was targeted in the incident in Taygate Trading Estate in Dundee.

Police said he was sitting in his vehicle on Coldside Road near its junction with Strathmartine Road when he was approached by the man who threatened him with a knife.

The victim was unharmed during the incident at around 6.30pm on Tuesday.

Police said the suspect ran off towards Strathmartine Road.

He is described as between 25-35, around 5ft 9in and was wearing a grey hooded top with grey tracksuit bottoms.
