'Unexplained' sudden death at flat sparks police probe
Several streets in Mastrick, Aberdeen, have been closed off by investigating officers.
An "unexplained" sudden death at a flat in Aberdeen has sparked a police investigation.
The incident on Arnage Place in Mastrick was reported in the early hours of Wednesday, Police Scotland said.
Officers are also carrying out enquiries at a property on nearby Willowpark Place in relation to the death.
A force spokeswoman said: "Officers are currently in attendance following a sudden death in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
"Enquiries are at an early stage and the death is currently being treated as unexplained.
"Officers are also carrying out enquiries at a property in the Willowpark Place area in connection with the incident.
"The public are thanked for their patience and respectfully asked to avoid both areas in the meantime.
"Further details will be released when available."
