Self-sufficient Scottish island of Tanera Mor on sale for £1.95m
The island runs off generators and wind turbines and issues its own postage stamps.
Where in the world would you live if you had a spare £2m?
You could choose to buy a plush two bedroom flat in Mayfair, sparsely decorated but with a view of one of London's swankiest postcodes.
Perhaps a tiny studio apartment in the heart of Monaco would be better suited for high rollers, or artistic types may chose a three-bedroom flat in Paris' 8th arrondissement near to the Champs Elysees.
But if privacy, peace and quiet and the chance to design your own postage stamp sounds like your idea of heaven, then the Isle of Tanera Mòr could be the perfect property investment.
Situated 1.5 miles off the north-west coast of Scotland, the largest and only inhabited island in the Summer Isles has been put up for sale for a cool £1,950,000.
An 800 acre stretch of land, the price tag includes a converted school house transformed into a family home, a private beach and nine cottages.
Owned for the past 18 years by the Wilder family, who have undertaken a woodland regeneration project and selective livestock grazing to cultivate the perfect environment for wildlife to thrive, the private island off the Coigach peninsular near Ullapool is a haven from the hustle and bustle of everyday life for one lucky buyer.
With sandy beaches, rugged landscape and the island's highest point Meall Mòr reaching almost 125m, the island has endless coves and bays to explore.
Generators and wind turbines have been installed to help the island become self-sufficient alongside a freshwater treatment works.
And if you ever wanted to run your own postal service, the island's post office is included in the sale - with the opportunity for the buyer to issue they're own stamps for mail reaching the mainland.
The only Scottish island to offer a year-round private postal service, all letters posted on Tanera Mòr require two postage stamps - a Summer Island stamp to carry it to the mainland and a Royal Mail stamp for the rest of the journey.
But the self-sufficient island's perks don't end there - prospective buyers could also own pasture land for animals, a cafe, a B-listed pier which is rented by fishermen, a private beach and plenty of cottages for the owner to rent as holiday homes or keep for themselves.
The sale of Tanera Mòr also comes with the two smaller island of Eilean Mòr and Eilean Beag as well as one small tidal island.
While the island has been split into three separate lots for potential buyers by property company Savills, the chance to own the whole island is hoped to entice a buyer with a couple of spare millions to retreat to.
